Van's recovery

This is Van before they put the hard cast on his leg.
This is in the recovery room.
At the children's hospital, they have wagons for the kids. Stone wanted to pull Van in the wagon. He is a good big brother.

Diaper changes take a long time. I have to stuff a smaller diaper up under the cast, then put a bigger one over the cast to hold the small diaper on. Luckily, there hasn't been any accidents getting the cast dirty.

Van is in good spirits. The same day we got back from the hospital, he was already rolling and crawling around.

My mom came to help, which is always fun.

We went to the aquarium. There is a kids fun play area. The boys didn't want to leave. We were playing tag because we were the only in there.

Last night we found two teeth breaking through in Van's mouth. As if he wasn't in enough pain already. He is such a good baby. My mom left last night and Luke's mom came last night too. We are very grateful to have such good mothers.

I wish we were closer so that I could help. We're sending good vibes your way though :)

You guys look great. I especially like the picture of Stone pulling Van in the wagon. That's sweet. Good luck with everything.

So sorry Van. I can't believe how happy he still looks. What a sweet guy. That diaper changing thing looks complicated. I won't be complaining as I change my babys diaper tonight, doesn't seem so bad now.
