Finally
This is what it looked like when I was driving to work yesterday. At church on Sunday, Collette prayed for moisture. Maybe we should have her pray more often.
This is what it looked like about 4 hours later. Blizzard conditions outside of the job and we had to send everyone home because they were starting to shut down roads.
This is what it looked like in front of our house this morning. The wind-blown snow is the worst because it piles up and gets really heavy and I only have a shovel and my body to move it. Needless to say I didn't get to work bright and early.
Janna received a text last night from our Brother-In-Law Trent that Carin had a healthy baby girl last night so CONGRATULATIONS to them. A few minutes ago my cousin Blair told me they had a healthy baby boy this week so CONGRATULATIONS to them too.

Wow, 3 Posts In The Same Week!

When we pray as a family before putting the boys to bed, it is funny to watch them. Stone and Rusty are usually pretty reverent, but Van often folds his arms for a few seconds and then does whatever he wants. This night he saw both brothers doing the same thing and so he followed suit and stayed that way until...
They realized I took their picture, then they sat up because they wanted to see the picture I took. Once again, they all folded their arms and got ready to pray.
Sometimes we get frustrated when trying to get them ready for and into bed. It seems like their energy peaks just when it is time for bed. However, I am so glad that these times are full of laughter and childhood innocence and that my boys really love each other and that I get to be apart of it. There are few things more rewarding to me in life than coming home from work after a long day and seeing their little heads poking out of the door in the garage, excited to see ME! How could I be so lucky? Of all the bad choices I have ever made, the choice to marry my beautiful wife and share my life with her has been the smartest decision I have ever made.

Once a Year

About once a year I will shave my face completely. I don't do it very often for a couple of reasons:
1. Janna likes the scruff and thinks I look too young
2. I have sensitive skin and it gets irritated by shaving
3. I don't like to shave

Elders Quorum Activities
This past weekend I was able to organize and participate in another excellent Elders Quorum Activity. We experienced some feedback of the jealous type from some of the Relief Society Sisters, however, we took the high road and left them home. It is unfortunate that the "old timers" have been moved out of the quorum and into the High Priests, thus allowing us to participate in "young" and "cool" activities.
Interesting to think how Barry got this shot considering he was belaying me at the time.

Unfortunately a handful of our fellow quorum members were not able to make the trip. We are planning on making regular trips up to the park this year to enjoy the climbing, weather, and beautiful scenery. All are invited to attend, we will try to get the word out. The children especially will enjoy it. My two older boys have already begun to enjoy the climbing experience.

Drum Roll Please

OK, for those of you that have been asking, here she is in all of her 28 week glory. There is no more hiding it.

We took these pictures yesterday after our session of Stake Conference.
Van was walking down the hallway holding Janna's hand and had his other hand in his pocket. He looked so grown up.

Our little ninos trying to get out their wiggles.

This is how the boys chill out and wind down at night. They were watching Star Wars Ep V: The Empire Strikes Back. They were very into it and no, Rusty wasn't sucking his thumb. He was biting his nails.

March Madness
So you've probably noticed that we are blogging slackers. We are lucky to post once or twice a month right now. Janna is about 27 weeks along right now and everything is going well with the pregnancy. No prego pictures of her yet, she says if you want to see her, come visit. We told my cousin Cassie that last week, and she is here this weekend to visit. Ha ha, it worked. We haven't had many visitors in a while despite having 60-75 degree temperatures all winter.
I was reassigned to be the job Safety, Quality, Environmental, (and wherever else I can help) Engineer. Safety takes up a large part of my days but I enjoy it so work is good. Our building is nearly topped out with the joists being rolled out currently and roofing of the 2nd building is underway.
The boys are good. Stone continues to excel in school and his teacher had nothing but positive things to say about him. He is working hard on his numbers right now and is always asking us to say numbers out loud so he can tell us what the number is. Rusty loves it when Stone is home on Tuesdays and Thursdays because he has someone to play with. He and Stone play so well together it is really rewarding to see how they have become such good friends. Van follows them around wherever they go, he seems to be growing up very fast. He loves to lay on Janna's belly and is learning new words every day. He is very stubborn and knows what he wants. He doesn't hesitate to tell Janna what he wants to wear or what he won't wear when she is getting him dressed.
Janna needs to get on here and tell everyone how she is doing. She loves it when I come home and help, I probably don't do it enough. We are trying to plan our summer, but it has been challenging seeing as how this baby is coming just before we are supposed to make our trips. I'm sure it will all work out, but it can be a little crazy til it happens.
