When we pray as a family before putting the boys to bed, it is funny to watch them. Stone and Rusty are usually pretty reverent, but Van often folds his arms for a few seconds and then does whatever he wants. They realized I took their picture, then they sat up because they wanted to see the picture I took. Once again, they all folded their arms and got ready to pray.


Sometimes we get frustrated when trying to get them ready for and into bed. It seems like their energy peaks just when it is time for bed. However, I am so glad that these times are full of laughter and childhood innocence and that my boys really love each other and that I get to be apart of it. There are few things more rewarding to me in life than coming home from work after a long day and seeing their little heads poking out of the door in the garage, excited to see ME! How could I be so lucky? Of all the bad choices I have ever made, the choice to marry my beautiful wife and share my life with her has been the smartest decision I have ever made.
