A Mexcellent Christmas

We had a great Christmas. We did the usual Christmas eve things eating a big feast complete with Cholo-mix, opening Christmas eve presents of new pajamas, reading about Christ's birth from the Bible and putting out cookies for Santa. We woke up Christmas morning to a white Christmas and it snowed all day. The boys were so excited as they waited for everything to be ready to go down stairs. Since it was just our little family, we took a break halfway through presents to make it last longer. We ate breakfast of bacon and cinnamon rolls. Van and I took a nap, then we finished opening presents. These are some pictures of our Christmas and the days before.

Stone, Van and Rusty as Christmas presents. Who could ask for anything better?
Van's favorite thing to do was to play with the lights and the Christmas tree. He would crawl over to the lights and look at me and smile as he would grab them. He knows how to get attention.
New Christmas eve pajamas.

Happy Baby!
Christmas morningbefore opening presents.
Van opening a package of diapers. Poor baby, but don't feel too bad for him. He already has tons of clothes and toys as the third boy. Besides, he won't remember, he's just a baby. He also had his first taste of chocolate. He was playing with and unopened little candy bar, and I thought it was ok. Then a little later, I look over at him and he had gotten the wrapper open and was eating a twix bar. Good job, Van!
Rusty and Stone with their new super hero blankets. Made with love by their mother.

Christmas naps.
After the big snow storm on Christmas and one two days later, it made for perfect sledding condititons. We went to a park in our neighborhood with some little hills. They were the perfect size for the kids. I even went with Van a couple of times.

I'm back home and am looking at the computer. I love all the pictures. What a fun holiday season you had. Everyone looks like they are having lots of fun. Haylie and I had a great time with the Garners. Now I have to go back to work.

It looks like you guys had a great first Christmas in your new house. My favorite is Rusty's face in that picture of the boys on the stairs :) So, when do we get to see pictures of the painted kitchen? I am really looking forward to seeing what you guys have done.

Looks like fun! We missed seeing you guys. It is so fun to make your own traditions though. Van is growing way too fast!
