Busy, busy
I moved to a new job this week. It is about half the distance as my other job. That is good b/c my fuel pump went out on the Honda and I haven't been able to get it fixed yet, so it only takes about 10 minutes in the morning for Janna and the boys to take me to work.

The job I am now on is a 3 story building for the government and I am the Concrete Engineer. I'll be there about 6 weeks I've been told, long enough to do all of the foundation work and stem walls. Then I'll go back to do the topping slabs for a week, and then I'll go back to do the site work, e.g. curb, sidewalk, light posts, etc. In between I think I'll be going back to Palazzo Verdi to do site work there. Rumor has it that Palazzo Verdi 2 could happen later this year which would be right next to the first one. So anyway this is probably boring for anyone to read, but it is what is going on around here.

Van has gone from a broken femur to the flu, from the flu to a cold with an ear infection. Rough year so far for the little guy. The other boys are also getting over colds and I think at some point we've all had one. I'm on my 2nd go around. It was fun having our moms come again. This time they overlapped and we got to have both of them here for a few hours. The boys love it and keep asking when they are coming back. Twice in 2 months and now they want it to be every month.
We got the kitchen done finally except for the floor. Last Saturday I put up the new blinds and finished putting the hardware on the drawers. It looks really good. Unfortunately the picture was taken before the blinds were installed. Janna will have to take another picture.
