Fall in Colorado
Fall is such a pretty time of year. My friend Tracy and I decided to go to the mountains to see the changing leaves. We went to Golden Gate Canyon State Park. On the way up, we got stuck behind a big, slow truck. The road was curvy so there were no chances to pass. He finally pulled over when we were almost there. The kids kept asking how much longer, but they were really good. We had a great time. The kids loved being there. We ate a picnic lunch and let the kids run around.
This is the view from the top. It is called panorama point.
We found this cool looking tree while the kids were on a "bear hunt". Luckily they didn't find any bears.
I added this picture because Van is so cute. I can't believe how big he is already.

Fall in Colorado is so breathtaking! We are not having fall here yet, or at least I have not seen it. So gorgeous.
Wow!! The mountains are so pretty. I really love the fall. I miss seeing the changing of the leaves. California doesn't quite do it like Utah and Colorado. Wonderful pictures. I'll have to come visit in the fall in a few years. I'm not going to work all the rest of my life.
You are right. Van is not a baby. He looks like he can keep up with the other two.
What brilliant color. I like looking for good climbing trees but never seen such a cool lounging tree.

SO so pretty! Were they as pretty the second time or had a lot fallen already? On our drive we saw tons of pretty colors but you could see patches where they had started to fall. Good thing we went then or you are right, they are probably all gone by now.
I didn't think I would say this, but I miss the Fall! It is still so hot here in AZ!
Sooo when did Van turn into a grown up with those teeth???? hahaha I can't believe how old he looks. The mountains look soo pretty. I miss you guys a LOT!
Such beauty! Van sure is growing fast! Wow! Still wished we lived close together so our boys could go on "bear hunts" together! :) We have to plan when we are going to get together. We are only about 9 hours East of you guys! If you came, we could do some church history and things too, and your boys would LOVE the planes on the Air Force Base! We will for sure come there for a visit too. Probably once baseball season starts again so we can see the Rockies! That is one stadium we've never been to.
