In the morning, is it going to be summer?
Two Saturdays ago the boys thought it was summer. It was 70 degrees and our home teacher brought over some toys that their kids had out grown. He brought over two cars, a slide and a teeter totter. The boys loved it. Rusty put on his swim suit and they asked if I could turn on the sprinklers. Of course the next day it was blizzardy. It was also Stake conference and Luke was in the choir. I went, but we only lasted 5 minutes after it started. The boys were being good, but Van started coughing so hard that he threw up and Stone kept on sneezing. I didn't want to be "those" people who bring their sick kids, so we left. Maybe if I made my kids wear clothes outside in March, they wouldn't get sick. Poor parenting.
Here is Rusty trying to bust a toy out of the ice. Safety first.

Van in his Blue's Clues outfit. He has started pulling himself up and climbing up the stairs. The other day he climbed up 10 stairs. Yes, I was next to him the whole time. I don't need another poor parenting story to tell.

Van loves driving the car.
Oops.
Both Van and Rusty had ear infections last week. I think Stone felt a little left out because he didn't get to sit up on the counter and get medicene. The night Rusty got his ear infection, I was up with him and he said, "I want a band aid on my ear." How sad. They are both doing fine now.

those are some sweet toys :) I am all for poor parenting...you and I can hang out together in that category!
London has an ear infection, Brea has these rotten allergies and Porter's just snotty!
Fun stuff huh!
I can't wait for Van, Marisa, and Shea to get together at the beach house!
Looks like fun. I love Rusty with the goggles, that's awesome!
I love the pictures. I wish it was summer too. I'm just not going to put on my swimsuit and go out in the snow. I'm glad the kids feel better and that Stone is enjoying primary.
I don't know why, but the picture of Rusty trying to break the toy out of the ice made me laugh out loud! Something about being in a swimsuit with a hammer working on ice, and the safety goggles all in one picture...maybe it's just me! :) haha.
Great pictures! Thanks for hanging out today. It was fun.
That really makes me wish it were summer. Or spring rather. What fun toys for the boys. Enjoy.
Absolutely cute boys. Love the picture of Rusty w/ the hammer. California's great. Going to church in Glendale.
